Bachelor of Arts (Hons) or BA (Hons) or sometimes referred as HBA for Honours Bachelor of Arts is also a bachelor and undergraduate academic degree course awarded by the university or college. The only difference between a general BA and BA (Hons) is that BA (Hons) is a specialization in a particular subject of arts discipline while BA studies five subjects. BA (Hons) also involves a higher academic standard than a general degree which include an additional year to study.

Entry Requirements for the Program

Standard Entry Requirements (Applicants under 21 years)

Age & Education

Students who are under 21 years of age are required to have 80 UCAS tariff points or equivalent qualifications and 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above or equivalent qualifications. Students who do not meet these requirements will be interviewed individually.

Students above 21 years and do not meet the standard criterion are also welcome under our Foundation programme. 

​Bachelor of Science (BSc) & BSc (Hons)

Bachelor of Science or BSc is a three-year full-time Bachelor’s degree program in Science and non-Science discipline awarded by the universities after successfully completion of three years. 

A Bachelor of Science (Hons) is also a full-time Bachelor’s degree program with additional 1 year or 1.5 years of study in Science and non-Science discipline awarded by the universities after successfully completion of the program. An initial Foundation year is incorporated with BSc (Hons) to develop a

When it comes to opting out subjects while studying BSc or BSc (Hons), it offers students following subject areas to get into:

  • BSc (Hons) Business & Tourism Management Degree with Foundation Year 
  • BSc (Hons) Accounting & Financial Management Degree with Foundation Year 
  • BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care with Foundation Year 
  •  BSc Cloud Computing (3 years) 

Like BA program, the result area of the examinations announced at the end of the course is announced under categories like First Class, Second Class includes upper and lower level, a Third Class degree.
